Support FAQ
If you are a staff member, why doesn’t IHOP-AC pay you to be on staff? Are contributions to individual missionaries really a proven way to fund missions?
The Largest missions organizations in the world that pays its staff a salary is Focus on the Family with 1,200 staff members. However, between Youth with a Mission (YWAM) and Campus Crusade for Christ, over 50,000 individuals successfully raise their own missionary support. There are also thousands more in other similar organizations that raise support in this manner. Individual missionary support is a proven way to support missionaries and allow me to focus on the call on my life in greater measure.
How much should I support you?
I invite those who partner with me to give in a way that excites their heart – in obedience to what God prompts you in your heart.
How often should I support you?
Monthly support allows me to keep a consistent budget. But anyway that you’d like to support me is greatly appreciated (monthly, quarterly, annually, or occasionally)
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations given through IHOP-AC are tax-deductible. The finance office will keep track of your donations as charitable contributions and you will receive a donation statement at the end of the year for your tax purposes.
However, if you donate via Pay-Pal (credit/debit card) or write a check to me directly, your donations are not tax deductible. If you don’t care about the tax deduction you can use either one of these methods. Please feel free to donate via any method you wish.
Where does my support money go? How do you use the funds I donate?
Your gifts support my practical needs like food, clothing, travel, and required taxes, etc. In addition to this, I am committed to a lifestyle of radical giving – particularly to other missionaries and the poor in the earth.
