What is an Intercessory Missionary?

An intercessory missionary’s primary focus is changing the spiritual atmosphere over cities and regions of the earth through intercessory worship; someone who engages in their work of outreach and missions from a lifestyle of intercession.  Their primary place of service is first unto the Lord in the place of worship and prayer.  This ministry provides one of the scriptural requirements for God to release the fullness of revival.  God will not move in fullness apart from day and night prayer (including fasting).  Jesus also connected the release and establishment of justice in the earth to day and night prayer (Lk. 18:7-8); and this specifically connected to the generation in which He would return.  We also see a picture of this ministry in the life of Anna in Luke 2:36-38 who gave herself primarily in serving God through prayer and fasting. Proclamation also came forth from that place of ministry.
