My Dream

My dream is God.

And He said to him, ” ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’(Mat 22:37) “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  25  “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me;  26  and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:24-26)

My deepest longing and vision for my life is to love God wholeheartedly, with all my heart, soul, and mind by cultivating the place of encounter with God.  I desire to see the glory of Jesus, grow in the knowledge of Him, and be with Him where He is; to love Him like the Father loves Him and for God to find a dwelling place in me.

Simply put, my dream is God.  My dream is that exchange of love between my heart and His heart.  He is the sum of my desires.  It comes down to being satisfied: I am loved by God and and lover of God.

“The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’(Mat 22:39)

Secondly, I desire to love others as myself; that the first commandment would ignite the second; the power of love in encounter with God would overflow and produce a love for people; to love them like God loves them.
